Our Pearl Knotting Workshop for beginners is the perfect introduction to the art of creating beautiful and timeless pearl jewellery. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the traditional technique of knotting pearls on silk thread, a skill that has been passed down through generations.

During the workshop, you will be guided by experienced instructor who will teach you various techniques for knotting pearls, as well as how to choose the right materials and tools for the job. You will also learn about different types of pearls and how to care for your jewellery to ensure it lasts a lifetime.

By the end of the workshop, you will have created their own stunning pearl necklace to take home and show off to friends and family. Not only will you leave with a beautiful piece of jewellery, but you will  have gained a new skill that they can continue to practice and perfect on your own.

This workshop offers a unique and creative experience for beginners who are interested in learning a new craft and creating their own handmade jewellery. You will get a 15 inch string of white Freshwater Cultured Pearls, silk thread and all the necessary components – in Sterling Silver – to create an 18 inch Pearl necklace.

If you want to make a longer necklace, you can purchase additional pearls on the day for an additional charge.

This Beginners Pearl knotting class will be in the Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, Tulsk, Co Roscommon, F45 HHJ1, on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, from 10am to 3.30pm approx. English speaking tutor. We will be working in an upstairs room  – there is no lift. There is ample parking, an onsite cafe and museum.

All necessary materials provided, use of all relevant tools included. Tea/coffee will help fuel the creativity.

This is an Adult only workshop. Please ensure that you bring glasses if you need them for close up work.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that a workshop needs to be cancelled by me, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group are unable to attend / have to cancel a scheduled workshop and cancel 30 days prior to the workshop, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group cancel a scheduled workshop within 14 to 30 days prior to the workshop, a 50% fee will be applied.

For any cancellations made by an individual or group within 14 days prior to a scheduled workshop, no refund will be provided/full fee will apply.
