Enjoy a few hours bonding and creating with your child! Have fun learning how to play with polymer clay, make some earrings while making wonderful memories! Looking for something to do during the Easter Midterm break?

2 classes to choose from:

Adult and child class – age 8 to 12 yrs – 10am to 12 noon.

Adult and child class – age 13 to 17 yrs – 1pm to 4pm.

All materials are provided and use of all relevant tools is included. English speaking tutor.

The class will be held on Saturday 19th April 2025 (Easter Saturday) in the Rythm Room, 28 Park Lane, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim, N41DY97.      Ample parking, we will be in an upstairs room, there is no lift.

Polymer Clay  – What is it?

Polymer clay is a synthetic modelling clay that you cure it (bake it) in your home oven on low temperature. It is non toxic and used by all ages, from children right up to professional artists and crafters. It can be used to make anything your imagination can create – from earrings, jewellery, buttons, picture frames, bowls, figurines, sculptures etc.

It can be sanded and buffed when cured (baked), it can even be painted and varnished too.

But, we will start with the basics, learning how to condition the clay, rolling it out, cutting it, using texture sheets and so much more. We will make earrings that you can bring home.

Adult and Child class

As this is an Adult and Child class (mother and daughter, father and son, mother and son, father and daughter, sisters, grandparent and grandchild, aunt and niece/nephew, well, any combination really so long as the adult is over 18 yrs). The adult will be required to stay in the class with the child for the duration.

Places are very limited, so booking is essential.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Please also bring a food safe container (a plastic take away container is perfect) to bring any unbaked clay home in.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that a workshop needs to be cancelled by me, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group are unable to attend / have to cancel a scheduled workshop and cancel 30 days prior to the workshop, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group cancel a scheduled workshop within 14 to 30 days prior to the workshop, a 50% fee will be applied.

For any cancellations made by an individual or group within 14 days prior to a scheduled workshop, no refund will be provided/full fee will apply.
