This unique pearl necklace and earring set is handmade with beautiful white freshwater cultured Pearls, pale coffee colored coin Pearls and 9ct yellow gold on Sterling Silver.

DETAILS:

I have used a variety of size of white freshwater cultured pearls, including almost round ring pearls, button pearls and shell pearls. I have used larger 10mm coffee coloured Pearl coins  and 9kt yellow gold over sterling silver accent beads. The center focal piece of the necklace is a coffee colour pearl coin and a large white drop pearl. This focal drop is approx 4.5cm longted, which gives a fluid feel to the necklace. The necklace measures approx. 35cm with a 6cm extender chain, choker style/short necklace. The earrings are on a shepherd hook style earwire. All metal on this set is 9ct yellow gold on Sterling Silver. Nickel and lead free.

Pearls are a birthstsone for June and are a stone for 30th Anniversary. This jewellery set is elegant and could dress up any outfit, ideal for a wedding, mother of the bride or any occasion. Equally it would look great with a casual shirt and jeans. Pearls have long been seen as a symbol of elegance and beauty.

PEARL:

Pearls are not technically a gemstone as they are found in a mollusc. Most pearls are from farmed oysters and molluscs Pearls has been considered to be a symbol of purity and innocence and is often worn as bridal jewellery – it was believed that pearls would prevent a bride crying on her wedding day.

Designed and handmade by Hazelrocks Jewellery in Roscommon, Ireland. I use ethically mined/sourced genuine gemstones wherever possible. I also reuse, recycle and re-purpose packaging materials whenever I can.
