This delicate sterling silver necklace comprises a silver wing, a silver heart with cz’s and a handcut natural green Emerald.

Details:

The Sterling Silver Wing (feather) is approx 10mm, the Sterling Silver Heart is approx 5mm, the diamond/rhombus shape Emerald is approx 10 mm. This precious gemstone is a genuine, natural green Beryl from Brazil, hand cut in India. This Emerald has shades of dark green. I use ethically sourced mined genuine gemstones in my jewellery, whenever possible. The total pendant length is approx 23mm. The delicate sterling silver chain is approx 44cm (18 inches long). All metal is sterling silver, nickel and lead free. This necklace will be dispatched in a gift box so is ideal for gifting for a May birthday, or a love token. Emerald:

Emerald is the stone of successful love, and is perfect with this sparkly sterling silver heart and shiny sterling silver wing.  Ancient Egyptians believed that Emeralds represented rebirth and fertility. Many wore this precious gemstone around their neck in hopes of bringing them eternal youth, this stone represents the heart chakra. Green is a colour of spring, of abundance and growth. Emerald is the birthstone for May and for the zodiac sign of Taurus.

Hearts and wings or feathers are always in fashion and always have many representations throughout history. The heart is the symbol of love and wings are a sign of new beginnings, spirituality and the soul transcending to a higher goal. So perhaps the meaning of this piece could be that successful love gives us the possibility to transcend the everyday?
