Fossil Palm Root Crescent Moon wire wrapped pendant.

Copper wire curled and swirled around this beautiful piece of Fossilised (Agatised) Palm Root.

This natural gemstone is from Indonesia and has been cut and polished into this lovely crescent moon shape.

This fossil coral is approx 4.5cm (1.75 inches) long and wrapped with bare copper wire to create a wearable pendant necklace – total pendant length, including bail,  is approx 6cm (2.3 inches). The back and front of each pendant will be slightly different so you decide which way around to wear it.  This crescent moon Fossilised Palm Root has light and dark colours in it, from latte to caramel tones to darkest black. Copper wire curls and swirls around the crescent moon shape stone. The necklace will be on a waxed cotton cord or chain, whichever you prefer. Each pendant will be different as each fossil palm root stone has its own patterns, markings and colour. Photograph for example as the one you receive may be slightly different.

What is Fossil Palm Root?

Palm Root is fossilized Indonesian Palm tree. Agate, Quartz and Jasper slowly replaced the wood over the course of millions of years. Palm Root is literally a part of the ancient Earth. Its shades of black and brown reflect its ancestor tree. It is sometimes called Agatised (Agatized) Palm Root or Flame Root Agate.

In crystal healing, Fossil Palm Root is a grounding stone, helping to dissolve fear and clear confusion about current situations in your life.  It is said to help balance and soothe the emotions, and release negative behaviours or patterns. It is associated with the Base and Third Eye chakras.

These Fossilised Palm Root stones are from Indonesia and each one is handcut  and polished by skilled, local crafts persons in Indonesia.
