Garnet is a birthstone for January, it is also traditionally a gift for the 2nd and 18th wedding anniversaries.

These natural semi precious gemstone beads are tiny faceted rounds, they have a wonderful sparkle and a deep rich purple/red colour. The garnets are in a straight row (bar style) with sterling silver chain at either side. The chain has a standard sterling silver bolt-ring clasp. You can also use the necklace as a wrap bracelet, depending on your wrist size.

Detail

This handmade necklace has 15 stunning, faceted genuine Garnets in the centre, and is on a sterling silver chain. The total length is approx. 45cm long (approx 18 inches) including the clasp. The metal is .925 sterling silver, so is all nickel and lead free.

This necklace is understated elegance, the gemstones (healing crystals) have a lovely deep red wine colour and they will sparkle as they catch the light when you move.  A casual elegant necklace, subtle and timeless, ideal for any age.

Garnet is said to bring love, luck, health and friendship. It is also said to protect the wearer while traveling. It is believed to improve self confidence. It is said that the name Garnet comes from its resemblance to the seeds of the pomegranate.

In addition to the healing properties of all Garnet, Red Garnet represents love and commitment. It is believed to help relationships by revitalising feelings of honesty, sincerity, understanding, warmth and enhances physical love. Red Garnet is also said to help control anger, especially towards self. Crystals can be programmed for the recipient, just ask.

Matching earrings and bracelet may also be purchased separately so that you can mix and match to create your own suite of jewellery.
