The pendant is made with a stunning, rich blue Lapis Lazuli cabochon pear. The stone is approx. 16mm x 15mm x 4mm. The back of the stone has a lovely blue green colour with pyrite gold flecks.
I have used Sterling Silver wire to hold the stone in place and create a pleasing shape. The total length of this wire wrapped is approx. 45mm (1.75 inches long). All metal is .925 Sterling Silver, Nickel and lead free.
The pendant is fully hallmarked by the Irish Assay Office in Dublin Castle, Ireland.

Don’t want to wear it as a pendant?????? you could hang it as an amulet in your sacred healing space, use it as a window hanging or as a frontspiece for your special book. All gemstones will be cleansed before posting and can be programmed for the wearer – just ask.
Lapis Lazuli
Lapis Lazuli is a birthstone for September, and is also a stone for 7th and 9th wedding anniversaries. It has been used in jewellery for many centuries, it was used by the ancient Egyptians for jewellery, painting and even eye shadow. In the Rennaissance period, it was used to make ultramarine blue paint. Lapis blue is often referred to as Heavenly Blue.
In crystal healing, Lapis Lazuli is considered to be a stone of wisdom and truth. It is believed to help relieve insomnia and ease depression. It is used to encourage self confidence. It is linked to the Throat Chakra and is said to help you to speak your truth – can be useful for people who engage in public speaking of any kind.
The gold flecks in Lapis Lazuli are due to naturally occurring pyrite inclusions. Pyrite is a powerful protection stone.
Please note that the metaphysical properties of any gemstones/crystals is not guaranteed.
