This Large Labradorite Wire Wrapped Pendant is a stunning piece of jewelry that will add a touch of elegance to any outfit. This pendant is made with curls and swirls of copper wire and genuine gemstsones. The wire wrapping technique ensures that the pendant is securely held together.The pendant is also nickel-free, making it hypoallergenic and safe for those with sensitive skin.

This “Blue Moon Beauty” was created at the last Super Blue Moon in 2023 – born, cleansed and blessed in the full moon. Full of energy and magic. The larger Labradorite represents the earth, the smaller Labradorite above it represents the moon – it even spins – and it has a halo of tiny white Moonstone gemstones. Accented with tiny Labradorite in the frame. This piece can be used in your practice, craft, for meditation as a talisman or amulet or just as a beautiful necklace.

The pendant measures a total length of approx 11.5cm (4.5 inches) I have oxidised the copper wire to give an vintage look. On a copper tone chain 72cm (28 inch) length. If you prefer a shorter chain, please let me know.

Labradorite,

A stone of transformation and change, an aid to stimulate the imagination and calm and overactive mind. Legend said that an evil sorcorer had trapped the beautiful souls in the rocks and wouldn’t let them ascend as they refused to do his bidding. An Inuit warrior saw the lights flashing in the rocks, cleaved the rocks with his spear and freed the sould. They ascended – giving us the beautiful Aurora Borealis in the sky. In gratitude, they left some of the lights and beautiful colours in the rocks, giving us Labradorite, the gemstone we know and love.

Moonstone:

A stone of inner growth.  It soothes emotional stress, bringing calm and peace. It is also thought to enhances intuition and inspiration, bringing success and good fortune. Moonstone is connected to the Third Eye and Solar Plexus chakras. It is linked to feminine energies – believed to balance hormone cycles, ie easing PMS, helping with fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and breast-feeding.  For men, Moonstone is said to help balance the emotions. Moonstone is also said to aid the digestive system, helping to absorb nutrients, eliminate toxins and fluid retention. It helps improve the condition of the skin, hair, eyes, and fleshy organs such as the liver and pancreas. It is a birthstone for June.

Copper has long been worn to ease joint pain. It helps balance all the chakras. It is the 3rd most common element in our body. Copper Copper conducts electricity and is believed to amplify the energies of gemstones.

This piece of jewellery has been designed and handmade by Hazelrocks Jewellery in Roscommon, Ireland, using ethically sourced genuine gemstones. I reuse, recycle and re-purpose packaging materials whenever I can. My gift boxes are locally handmade using recycled paper. The outside of the boxes are plain so that you can reuse them.
