Would you like to learn how to turn Soutache braid and some beads into beautiful jewellery?

Join us on Sunday 19th October 2025 in St Josephs Centre, Leitrim Village, Co. Leitrim N41 PY51. 10am to 3pm approx (classes can sometimes run over time).

This is an accessible venue with ample parking. All materials provided, use of all relevant tools included. English speaking tutor.

What is Soutache?

Soutache is a narrow flat braid, often used as decorative trim on uniforms. However, when combined with beads etc, we can make stunning jewellery.

Never made soutache jewellery?????, don’t worry, if you can thread a needle, hold a bead and sew a running stitch, you can make soutache jewellery.

This is a beginners class, suitable for beginners and intermediate. Full tuition will be given. All materials will be provided and use of all relevant tools are included.

This will be a lovely workshop, lots of fun, chat and creating beautiful jewellery. This is an adult workshop. It will be limited to 8 people.

Images from internet will give you an idea of what can be made – of course you will create your own masterpieces on the day. I will be uploading my own images shortly.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that a workshop needs to be cancelled by me, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group are unable to attend / have to cancel a scheduled workshop and cancel 30 days prior to the workshop, a full refund will be provided.

If an individual or group cancel a scheduled workshop within 14 to 30 days prior to the workshop, a 50% fee will be applied.

For any cancellations made by an individual or group within 14 days prior to a scheduled workshop, no refund will be given – full fee will apply.
