These elegant understated garnet earrings each have 2 stunning, faceted 3mm genuine natural red gemstones. The total earring drop length is approx. 1.5cm long suspended from a sterling silver shepherd hook earring. The metal is .925 sterling silver, so is all nickel and lead free.

These natural semi precious gemstone (crystal) beads are approx 3mm faceted rounds, they have a wonderful sparkle and a deep rich purple/red colour, a rich red wine colour. The earrings are made with .925 Sterling Silver shepherd hooks. All metal is nickel and lead free.

Garnet is a birthstone for January, it is also traditionally a gift for the 2nd and 18th wedding anniversaries. This semi precious gemstone is said to bring love, luck, health and friendship, and protect the wearer while traveling. It is believed to improve self confidence. It is said that the name Garnet comes from its resemblance to the seeds of the pomegranate.

In addition to the healing properties of all Garnet, Red Garnet represents love and commitment. It is believed to help relationships by revitalising feelings of honesty, sincerity, understanding, warmth and enhances physical love. It is also said to help control anger, especially towards self. Crystals can be programmed for the recipient, just ask.
