Tanzanite and Pearl necklace

Blue Tanzanite and creamy white Pearls with Sterling Silver.

Luxurious, understated elegance. This beautiful necklace is handmade with handcut blue Tanzanite, white button pearls and sterling silver. I have added a lovely elegant toggle clasp which makes it easy to  put on and off.

Tanzanite necklace

This necklace is approx 45cm (18 inches) long. It will be dispatched in a gift box, so would make an ideal treat for yourself or to give to someone special. If you want it sent as a gift, please send a message in the notes section of your order.

These Tanzanite gemstones have been hand-cut for beauty and sparkle. They are approx 3mm x 4mm faceted rondelle shape, a lovely cornflower violet blue colour with lovely clarity. The pearls are a button shape. Sterling Silver spacer beads and Sterling Silver toggle type clasp.

This could be a necklace for a wedding day, a special day or any day. It would look as good with a fancy outfit or a white shirt and jeans.

Tanzanite is a birthstone for December. Pearls are always appropriate and are flattering to any skin tone. They are a birthstone for June and a 30th Anniversary stone.

Tanzanite gemstone:

Tanzanite is said to be a thousand times rarer than diamonds. It is a beautiful, rare blue gemstone. it is found only in a small area of Tanzania. It was discovered in the 1960’s and launched on the world by Tiffany & Co. In crystal healing, Tanzanite is said to be a stone of new beginnings – giving a sense of purpose, helping to move forward – leaving behind old patterns that can hold us back. It is linked to the throat, third eye and crown chakras. They are seen as symbols of dignity, truth and longevity.

Pearl:

Pearls have long been a symbol of purity, beauty and integrity. They have a unique lustre and are said to enhance a womans beauty, making her look younger. Pearl is a birthstone for June and a 30th Anniversary stone. Pearls are not technically a gemstone, but rather an organic  – created from a living mollusc.

Pearls have long been coveted and traded, Cleopatra is said to have dissolved one in a glass of wine and drank it to show her wealth.

In crystal healing, Pearls are said to help with problems of the digestion, heart and eye. Pearls have also been used to help with fertility and to ease pain during childbirth.

Pearls should be the last part of your outfit to put on and the first thing you take off. Please do not spray perfume, hairspray etc on your pearls. You should gently clean your pearls when you take them off.

Please store your necklace flat in its original box or any flat covered box/cloth.
