This rough nugget of Tanzanite is approx 6x10mm in size. This Tanzanite stone has not been shaped or faceted – that it why it is called a rough nugget. A lovely white freshwater cultured pearl in an oval shape, approx 6x5mm in size. A Sterling Silver bead tops the sits atop the pearl and Tanzanite to create an elegant drop style pendant necklace. The Sterling Silver chain is approx 45 cm (18 inch) long. This delightful piece of jewellery would be an ideal treat for yourself or as a gift for a special someone.
Tanzanite
Tanzanite is a one location gemstone, found only in the foothills of Mount Killimanjaro, Africa. It is valued for its violet blue colour and is said to be 1000 times rarer than diamonds. It was first launched on the market by Tiffany & Co in 1968. Tanzanite is a rare precious gemstone. It is a birthstone for December and is considered to be a stone for new birth and new beginnings. This gemstone is often given as a gift to a new mother. In crystal healing, Tanzanite is believed to help ease stress, nerves and migraine, encourages peace and calm. It is linked to the Third Eye chakra and Throat chakra.
Pearl
Pearls are a birthstone for June, used frequently in bridal accessories. Pearls were seen as a symbol of purity, integrity and serenity.
Silver
Silver is a precious metal and is a very reflective metal. In crystal healing, Silver is said to aid balance the emotional and spiritual. It is believed to aid the healing properties of gemstones it is set with.
Pearls require a little extra care and should be the last piece of jewellery to put on and the first you take off. Please keep body lotions, perfume etc away from pearls.
