Wire Wrapped blue Howlite gemstone necklace

Necklace made of blue Howlite gemstone, wrapped in wire.

Keep the Blue Skies with you, whatever the weather. Curls and Swirls of copper wire, creates a frame and holds this lovely warm blue Howlite gemstone. The dyed blue Howlite gemstone is an oval shape.  I have added 6 tiny faceted Sky Blue Apatite gemstones, a Tourmaline and a tiny black Spinel into the frame. All wrapped with oxidised copper wire.

Details

This Blue Skies pendant is made with copper wire, curled and swirled by hand, in a unique circular oval pattern. Celtic inspired design, with a lovely turquoise blue Howlite oval in  the center. Finished with beautiful, stunning Sky Blue Apatite woven in to the frame.  Hammered copper wire for a base, and then the strands of copper wire swirled curled and swirled around. I have oxidised the copper to give depth and interest to the piece, for a more vintage look. The pendant is slightly different back and front, so you decide which way to wear it.

The unique wire wrapped blue skies pendant has a total length of approx 6.7cm (almost 2.75 inches) (which includes the bail).  Pendant comes with a 67cm (27 inch) copper tone chain – if you prefer a shorter chain, please let me know. Nickel and lead free.

Don’t want to wear it as a pendant??????  you could hang it as an amulet in your sacred healing space, as a window hanging, as a fronts piece for your special book or even as a bookmark. Ideal to treat yourself, for your selfcare or to gift to someone special. This pendant will be posted in a gift box.

Gemstone:

Howlite is a white stone with is often dyed. This stone has been dyed blue to resemble a matrix Turquoise. In Crystal Healing, Howlite is a gentle, calming stone. It is used to relieve stress and insomnia. It is linked to the Throat Chakra.

Apatite – a beautiful blue gemstone. It is associated with the Throat Chakra, enhances communication and public speaking. In crystal healing, Apatite is a stone of manifestation, helping us with communication and self expression. Blue Apatite is said to heal emotions.

Tourmaline – a stone said to have fallen to earth through a rainbow. Found in a variety of colours. It promotes self confidence. It is a very protective gemstone.

Spinel – a birthstone for August. Spinel is often used instead of coloured Diamonds and precious gemstones. It is a high energy stone.

Copper jewellery has long been worn to ease joint pain. Copper is believed to amplify the energies of gemstones.
