Jade is a term that comprises both Nephrite and Jadeite.
The Natural – ‘Type A’ green Jade – Jadeite stone is a disc shape and is approx 8mm x 2mm. The pendant is approx 30mm long and 10mm at its widest point. It is on a 45cm (18 inch) sterling silver chain. I have used Sterling Silver wire to hold the stone in place and create a pleasing shape. All metal is .925 Sterling Silver, Nickel and lead free. The back and front are slightly different so you decide which way around to wear it.
The pendant is fully hallmarked by the Irish Assay Office in Dublin Castle, Ireland.
