Pearls: Pearls are an organic rather than a true gemstone, they are created from a living mollusc. Pearls were once greatly prized and worth more than their weight in gold. They have always been a symbol of purity and innocence. They are linked to the goddess Venus and are said to link a woman to her ‘Inner Goddess’. It was said that the bride who wore Pearls on her wedding day would cry no tears and have a happy marriage.
Zircon: one of the oldest stones – the age of the earth had to be re-calculated due to the carbon dating of his ancient gemstone. Zircon represents innocence and purity – it is said that the Angel Zircon was the Guardian Angel of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In a Hindu poem, the Kapla Tree was adorned with leaves of Zircon. It is a birthstone for December. (Zircon should not be confused with man-made cubic zirconium CZ)
Silver is a precious metal and is the most reflective metal. In crystal healing, Silver is said to aid balance the emotional and spiritual. It is believed to enhance the healing properties of gemstones it is set with.
